The Double Helix of Singing Bowls

The 18 singing bowls making up the Double Helix Set have been selected for both their individual properties as well as their ability to work together.

It is one of the current iterations of David Chambers Sound Sculptures created to showcase the Himalayan Singing Bowls. It is both a sound sculpture as well as a musical instrument. Dave has created several methods of displaying and playing the bowls. He started his bowl sculptures by creating stands from barstools, “designed for hosting sprits”, to fixture the bowls in the bell like configuration for Himalayan Voice’s first CD “Journeys”.
